St. Joseph Church Kuttippuram can tell the story of sacrifice, dedication and God’s direct plan and intervention. The church is considered as the Gateway to Thamarassery Diocese. It took a very long time to reach the present infrastructure, from a small room in a lodge to a prominent place in the National High way with it’s head high up and with great pride. With the efforts and goodwill of Vicar in Charge and the Christian families scattered in and around Kuttippuram and Valanchery area, first Mass was conducted on one of the rooms of “KALPAKA TOURIST HOME” near Kuttippuram bus stand, on 26-10-1986. The kindness and good will showed by a Hindu brother, Mr.KUTTAN NAIR, the owner of the tourist home, was remarkable and unforgettable. Special thanks to him. Later as the community expanded, the venue of the Holy Mass was shifted to a hall in the same premises.
Later with the whole hearted support of the local Christian community, around 1 acre land was purchased in the name of parish and S.H.Convent, 1 K.M away from Kuttippuram town. Under the inspiring leadership of the Vicar in Charge from Tirur Church,
